QUINN FAYLOR

MULTI-DISCPLINARY

Quinn Faylor is a queer, non-binary, multidisciplinary maker based in Detroit, MI. Their practice is rooted in an intuitive reading of space, where surroundings are experienced as a dance of shapes, dimensions, and rhythms. Through abstraction, Faylor explores how form, color, and movement interact—using color as both structure and character to build layered environments that shift between foreground and background.

Across mediums, Faylor’s work embraces playful patterning and imaginative world-building to examine flexibility, curiosity, resistance, and growth. Guided by the physical sensation of color and an interest in how we inhabit space, their practice ultimately seeks to create spaces that invite curiosity, play, rest, and reflection—exploring the body’s relationship to joy and care across boundaries.
