In November, creative communities across the US activated a wave of artistic resistance—standing together against censorship, injustice, and the erosion of democracy. Artists are a threat to American fascism.
On Nov 21-22nd, PLAYGROUND DETROIT joined national action to host a group exhibition including more than 30 artists presenting artworks, zines, and digital media confronting the urgent state of free expression. The exhibition highlights artists whose practices respond to themes of freedom, censorship, and resistance, echoing the voices of hundreds of creative practitioners participating across the country.
